Dennis Tresise started trading as a Monumental Mason in 1947 once he was demobbed following WW2, prior to the war he trained and became a full qualified stone cutter working for Tremayne’s at Brill Quarry Nr Constantine. The family business grew over the years and both his sons Eric and Philip Tresise also became monumental masons, later joined by Daniel Tresise his grandson.
D. Tresise & Sons remained a family business and till 2022, when Daniel’s lifelong friend and work colleague Scott Baldwin became a Partner and they formed the now named Tresise and Baldwin Monumental Masons, upholding the traditional training and attention to detail of their predecessors.
